Can take off all sorts of protection from DVDs. Supports AC3, DTS, CBR MP3 audio output (including VBR MP3); XviD or DivX video output.

Product description is simple and easy to understand. Allows for converting a wide range of DVD files, along with promising quality image quality. I especially liked that you have the option of including subtitles, which I almost always use in my causal viewing. It was not required to download the software, but I did click through and it did require a countdown (and a third "click to download" attempt) before giving the option to download. This may be more a critique for the website than the software description, but it did lend to a shady/sketchy vibe.

This product is very useful, it is used to convert a DVD to DivX. And it still protects like a DVD. This description is very easy to understand and explains all of the information that I need to know. Good codec for windows I have used it a couple of times and it works fairly fast. Have had a couple of issues with some videos but after trying multiple times the task was completed. Would recommend.

I use Auto Gordian Knot for converting DVD'S to AVI mostly. But, it is great for this and more. It's a very simple software that inexperienced computer software users will be able to use with ease. Auto Gordian Knot for Windows has done justice for me. It is a great program that helps you configure the dvd to avi. It works tremendously fast and is very simple to use. Upon opening the box I was a bit taken back and unsure if I would be tech savvy enough to understand how to use this program. But after loading it into my computer I realized it was extremely easy to learn. I think this software program is literally the best on the market right now!

I highly recommend this program to anyone wishing to backup DVD's fast without wanting to learn more complicated stuff about video conversation. Auto Gordian Knot is a fabulous program that does a great job! the only problem is every now and then audio sync can be off and you basically can't use it for that movie.
