Bitwig Studio is a program for creating music, which has a standard set of functions, typical for professional music editors. When you start BS, you will see a fairly typical interface for these types of programs, consisting of an arrangement window, a project material inspector and a toolbar. Also in the program it is possible to switch to the lounge mode, which will be useful for "live" performances. Working in the lounge mode, you can easily display the mixer, work with instruments like a crossfader, display a full-screen piano keyboard, and so on.
You can praise the program for its very convenient built-in file browser, which includes tabs with instruments, samples, music (for DJs), a collection of clips, settings and a common system browser. A distinctive feature of this browser is that it can update installed VST-plugins in real time. You don't even have to restart Bitwig Studio to apply updates. When working with the same project on several computers with different versions of installed plug-ins, a browser section will be useful to display and help eliminate conflicts between VST versions. If any of the working plugins "falls", you do not have to reboot the program immediately. You can temporarily disable it and finish working with the project.
Bitwig Studio allows real-time updates of installed VST-plugins without restarting, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
Even in Bitwig Studio it is very convenient to work with tools. For these very tools, you can select a separate panel in the program interface and add them in two mouse clicks, from a special menu that opens when you click on the icon with the "+" sign. Almost all built-in tools have "sockets" for installing additional plug-ins.
