Cerberus is a webcam software for video surveillance of your home. The application is capable of receiving images from up to ten webcams at the same time, and images from the cameras can be uploaded to different sites via FTP. The application is easy to install - on average, it takes users no more than five minutes to get started "out of the box". Image size, quality, design and refresh rate are adjustable. The program can also work offline and save the received frames to the hard disk instead of uploading them via FTP. Cerberus is able to automatically detect motion, and users can specify a specific area on the frame where the motion sensor should be used. When this "sensor" is triggered, the image from the camera is saved and the user can receive an e-mail. Access to the program can be closed with a password. There is support for telnet and timer work. There is a built-in image viewer.
