Pixel Tester is a free software tool that can be used to easily detect and fix dead pixels on a computer monitor. The software runs a series of tests on the monitor to identify any stuck or dead pixels. It then displays a coloured grid on the screen and prompts the user to click on any pixels that appear to be malfunctioning. After correcting any detected dead pixels, the program can then be used to help maintain the monitor's display quality.

I recently tried out the Dead Pixel Tester software. It was easy to install, and the UI was simple and straightforward. The available test patterns were quite varied and worked well. I found the pixel detection capabilities to be quite accurate. The visual animations to be helpful in locating and identifying dead pixels. Overall, the software performed quite well. The only issue I found was that the software sometimes lagged when running the tests.
