EF Find from EFSoftware is a file search program for Windows. It searches drives and folders for files by name and for text inside files, including searches for any of several terms, all terms, hexadecimal byte sequences or regular expressions, with options for case sensitivity and whole words. Subfolders are searched without depth limit, and files or folders can be excluded.
Finds files and text even inside archives and acts on the results directly.
A strength of EF Find is that it also looks inside more than twenty archive formats, including ZIP, RAR, 7-Zip, ISO, CAB and TAR, and packer plugins add more. Found files can be copied, moved, renamed, deleted, opened or turned into shortcuts straight from the result list. The interface is available in many languages, and portable 32-bit and 64-bit editions need no installation.
