Quickly turns folders of photos into realistic page-flipping albums with covers, contents and music.

Many basic photo programs simply show pictures one by one from a folder, and they don't have the customization that you need to add a level of uniqueness to your albums. FlipAlbum Suite takes a different approach: you select a folder of images, and the program automatically arranges them into a realistic book with front and back covers, a table of contents, an alphabetical index and a thumbnail overview. Pages turn with a 3D flipping effect and a page-shuffling sound.

If you have books filled with physical photographs, you can scan them and turn the scans into a digital album as well. The software is straightforward and intuitive. The program guides you through the main steps, so there is little guesswork when it comes to starting. Photos can be annotated with captions, and pages can be decorated with themes, borders and custom crop shapes. Background music from digital files can play throughout the album, on individual pages or when the viewer clicks a music icon. Albums also support bookmarks and a slide show mode with adjustable flipping speed. Fonts can be embedded, so recipients do not need the same fonts installed. Finished albums can be prepared for CD or DVD with the CD Maker tool, exported as MPEG-2 video for Super VCD or DVD, or uploaded to the web and shared by e-mail as a link. FlipAlbum Suite 6.0 is an older Windows program that is no longer developed, and its official website is gone.
