FreeCap is a free program that allows you to forward connections through a SOCKS server. The application is based on the universal implementation of DLL in external processes, which intercepts Winsock API calls and redirects connection requests. Given the fact that not all programs are able to work directly through SOCKS-proxies (e.g. Internet Explorer), FreeCap will be extremely useful for performing the required operations.

FreeCap allows forwarding connections through a SOCKS server, making it possible to use programs that don't support SOCKS-proxies directly.

- Functioning of the SOCKS Cap.

- Functioning of the SOCKS Chain program.

- Support for SOCKS protocols v4 and v5 (RFC 1928).

- Authorization support for SOCKS v5 (RFC 1929).

- Supports SOCKS server chains (SOCKS Chain).

- Support for Socks Share technology.

- Support for tunneling via HTTP proxy (RFC 2817), including use of SOCKS servers in the cascade.

- Launch the program together with the system.

- Compatible with Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP.

- Support for most popular programs, including Internet Explorer / Outlook Express, Netscape, Mozilla, Trillian, Opera.
