Freecorder is a software for Windows that is utilized for recording video and audio files from the users browser as well as converting the files to different types of media files. While Freecorder is primarily used for saving browser videos, it also has numerous built-in tools and functions that open to a wider range of uses. Freecorder is a free piece of software that lets you really easily save audio and video on your browser. It also has such features as embedded file conversion and built-in media and radio players. The app is compatible with Youtube videos and includes a YouTube downloader as well as a Torrent Downloader. What’s more is that Freecorder also includes an MP3 converter as well as a video-editing tool.
However some users are not happy with the app. They claim that the software is full of advertisements and that some features are locked behind a paywall. Some of them also find the interface clunky and unpleasant to use.
Overall, if you want to save a lot of your favourite music and videos, check out this app and decide whether you like it or not.

I get the feeling this software is made to allow you to record MP3 files so you don't have to pay for music. You can also record Youtube videos, which are often copyrighted and not legal to copy or record. I would not use this software. It is for cheapskates who want free versions of copyrighted material.

Upon attempting to install, I got an error message. I am honestly relieved, as this does not look like a good solution for downloading Youtube videos. There are plenty of websites out there that give you higher quality downloads without having to install dodgy, non-functioning software.

This software allows for audio and video recording and processing in a browser. It works in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I really admire that from a simple click of a button you can convert a save and audio file or video file, as most other recorders and converters have a longer and drawn out process.

This free software for Windows helps me record and convert audios and videos using a web browser.  I can easily make conversions for Internet Explorer and Firefox.  Those are like the only two web browsers that I use.  It also has a radio and tv streaming channels.  How cool is that.  This is all done over the web browser so it's very convenient.  I am glad I tried it out.

To use Freecorder for Windows you need first to download the app, after that you can open your app and you will have a menu bar with options like Youtube, Video History, Record  Audio Tool, Convert Tool, Play Tool, Settings, TV channel and in general the radio control, you can start clicking in the Record Button, press allow and than the App will start to record until you click on the Stop recording button, than after that you can watch the record that you have just made by clicking in the Play button.
