Gerbview

GerbView from Software Companions is a tool for engineers and PCB manufacturers who need to check circuit board production files. It opens Gerber RS-274X and RS-274D files, including the X2 extensions, ODB++ jobs, Excellon drill files, HPGL/2 plots and DXF and PDF files, and it displays the layers so apertures, drill data and dimensions can be inspected before fabrication.

Measurement tools determine distances, areas and perimeters with snapping, and layers can be compared to show differences. Limited editing covers deleting items, replacing apertures and adding markup such as text, arrows or barcodes. Files can be printed or converted to Gerber, DXF, DWF, PDF, SVG, HPGL/2 and image formats, also from the command line for automated conversions.
