BlindScanner from Masters ITC Software is client-server software for sharing a scanner. The server part runs on the PC the scanner is connected to, and the client part is installed on other computers in the local network. Users can then scan remotely, including from Terminal Services and Remote Desktop sessions, where local scanners are normally unavailable.
Lets every computer in an office use one scanner without moving documents between PCs.
The Pro edition installs a virtual TWAIN driver, so any scanning or imaging application on the client can use the remote scanner as if it were local, while the Standard edition provides its own scanning client with timer scanning, multipage PDF and TIFF output and command-line scanning. Automatic document feeders, duplex scanning, scan profiles and compressed transfer are supported.
