HJSplit is a utility that allows you to split and merge files. HJSplit can handle very large files larger than 100 GB and allows you to split files, "rebuild" multiple files into one, generate MD5 checksums and compare files to each other in size. The program does not require installation and supports both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows. The HJSplit interface is minimalistic - to split a file, you just need to select it, specify the location and size of its parts. The program can be run from external media (e.g. a USB flash drive) and consumes few system resources. If you decide to use HJSplit to merge several files into one, remember that all the source files must be in the same folder.
HJSplit efficiently splits and merges very large files even greater than 100 GB.
