Release : Import MBOX to Outlook 4.20
Antivirus check: passed
MBOX is a file format used by many email clients to store messages. It is flexible and widely used, but it’s not compatible with all email platforms. Microsoft Outlook, for example, uses a different format (PST or OST). Therefore, it can not open or use MBOX files directly. A user would have to import it through a tool like Import MBOX to Outlook.
This software was developed by Relief Software to help users bridge the gap between MBOX based email clients and Outlook. It supports all MBOX versions as well as modern Outlook versions – starting with Outlook 2007. The tool is designed to preserve email formatting, metadata, internet headers, and other labels during the import process.
Features:
Import MBOX to Outlook is a powerful tool for Outlook users, as it allows them to seamlessly transfer their emails from MBOX files to Microsoft Outlook.
There are two ways to use Import MBOX to Outlook: manual and automatic. The first method is manual import. Users have to connect their email client profile with their Outlook account. Then, the messages are saved manually in Outlook. The second option is to automate the migration. Users have to merely select the folder or subfolders and select a destination Outlook folder, and the rest will be managed automatically.
Import MBOX to Outlook can handle the import of multiple MBOX files at once – without harming the original folder structure in Outlook. To do this, users can select different files at once or select a source folder that contains multiple files. The command line can be used to batch import the files into different Outlook accounts or Exchange Server public folders at once. However, it is available in the professional edition.
