The iZ3D Media Player Classic is a free player that lets you play videos in popular formats and apply a stereo effect to them. For this purpose, the program uses a well-known method called an anaglyph, which implies color coding of the image for the left and right eyes. To see the stereo effect you need to have special glasses. They are quite inexpensive, and if desired, they can be made on their own with the help of improvised means.
From the interface, and by the name of the iZ3D Media Player Classic it is not difficult to guess that this player was created on the basis of Media Player Classic. However, the functionality of the latter has been greatly reduced. For example, only MPG, MP3, MIDI, DVD, WMV, 3GP and AVI formats are supported in the iZ3D player. This is disappointing, because in today's reality the most popular formats are MKV and MP4, which iZ3D Media Player Classic, unfortunately, will not be able to reproduce. On the other hand, the program supports playlists, a tool for gathering technical information about video, and many advanced parameters of "picture" and sound. Also in the player there is a 3D-mode selector, which you will find in the submenu "File".
The iZ3D Media Player Classic allows users to experience videos in a unique stereo effect, enhancing their multimedia viewing experience.
The program includes all the codecs it needs. However, the player does not weigh much. Among the most important advantages of the standard Media Player Classic it incorporates relatively low system requirements, a pragmatic interface and support for all modern versions of the Windows operating system.
- creating a stereo effect using an anaglyph method;
- a rather scant list of supported formats (MPG, DVD, WMV, AVI, 3GP, MP3, MIDI);
- interface identical to that in Media Player Classic;
- support for playlists;
- Gathering technical information about the video;
- the ability to download external subtitles;
- completing all the necessary codecs;
- a few 3D modes to choose from.
