JackNet RGB Sync is a free and open-source utility designed to give users control over the RGB lighting of peripherals and components from different manufacturers. With JackNet RGB Sync, users can link the LEDs of their devices into groups, so that the lighting of one device is mirrored on the others, instead of configuring each brand's software separately. The project has been retired by its developer and is no longer maintained.
Features
1. Sync RGB Lighting Across Brands: JackNet RGB Sync allows users to synchronize the RGB lighting of peripherals, motherboards, graphics cards and other components. The software works through the vendors' SDKs and the RGB.NET library and is compatible with Corsair iCUE, Asus AURA, Razer Synapse, Logitech Gaming, EVGA Precision X1, Cooler Master MasterPlus and MSI devices.
JackNet RGB Sync allows synchronization of RGB lighting across multiple computers and devices, simplifying RGB setup.
2. LED Groups: JackNet RGB Sync organizes lighting into LED groups. Each group copies the colors of a chosen source device to the other selected LEDs, and the groups of a profile can be exported to a file and imported again later.
3. Lighting Control Settings: JackNet RGB Sync provides settings for the polling rate that controls how often colors are updated, a startup delay, a device exclusion list, a "Run as Admin" option and minimization to the background. The interface uses a dark theme and is translated into several languages.
4. Network Sync: JackNet RGB Sync can run as a server or as a client. One PC shares its lighting over the network, and other computers connect to it by IP address and port, so several machines can show the same lighting.
5. Easy Setup and Installation: JackNet RGB Sync is designed to be easy to install and use. The software comes with a standard Windows installer and a simple tabbed interface (LED Groups, Network, About and Settings), and it can check for updates from within the app.
6. Plugins and Premium: JackNet RGB Sync is available for Windows only. Version 1.7.7 added a plugin manager and direct control of MSI devices, and an optional Premium tier added saving and restoring profiles in the cloud.
7. Online Community: JackNet RGB Sync has a Discord server, linked from the About tab, where users could get help with setting up the program, as well as a subreddit and a YouTube channel. The app can also show its status through Discord Rich Presence.
8. Development Status: JackNet RGB Sync is no longer developed. The developer retired the project, the GitHub repository was archived in 2024, and the official website now points users to SignalRGB as an alternative. The source code remains available under the GPL-2.0 licence.
