MADRIX 5

MADRIX 5 is a powerful and intuitive software for creating and controlling dynamic LED lighting. It enables users to quickly and easily create visuals on a variety of LED fixtures, from LED strips and pixel tubes to LED panels, media facades and other DMX-controlled lights, using pixel mapping in 2D and voxel mapping in 3D. MADRIX 5 provides a comprehensive set of features for creating, programming, and controlling lighting systems, making it ideal for use in a variety of applications including entertainment, live events, and architectural lighting design.

MADRIX 5 offers a comprehensive set of features for creating and controlling dynamic lighting systems. These include:

• Real-time 3D Visualization: MADRIX 5 provides real-time previews and a 3D patch and visualizer, allowing users to see how effects look on the mapped fixtures before and during a show.

• Multi-Device Control: MADRIX 5 allows users to control multiple devices simultaneously, making it ideal for use in large-scale lighting installations.

• Effects and Layers: More than 55 built-in effects in five groups (SCE patterns, Sound2Light, Music2Light, MAS scripts and triggers) can be combined in layers with mix modes.

• Art-Net Support: MADRIX 5 supports the industry-standard Art-Net protocol as well as sACN (E1.31), DMX512, KiNET and Philips Hue outputs, allowing users to integrate their lighting with existing systems.

• MIDI/OSC Support: MADRIX 5 supports both MIDI and OSC protocols, allowing users to integrate their lighting systems with a wide range of external devices; MIDI button feedback shows the software state on the controller.

• Time Code: Shows can be synchronized to Art-Net, MIDI or SMPTE time code, or to the system time.

• Remote Control: MADRIX 5 can be controlled over HTTP and a web interface and supports touch-screen operation.

• Visual Effect Library: MADRIX 5 includes a comprehensive library of visual effects, and images, videos, live video capture, screen capture and scrolling text can also be used as content.

• Timeline-Based Programming: Timelines with a waveform display synchronize lighting to music, while cue lists work as automated playlists with time-based scheduling.

• Fixture Editor and Licences: A fixture editor with a large library of fixture profiles is included; licences range from start (1,024 DMX channels) to maximum (2,101,248 channels), are stored on a MADRIX KEY USB dongle and have lifetime validity, and without a key the software runs in demo mode.

• Windows Software: MADRIX 5 is Windows-based and runs only on 64-bit Windows, with current releases requiring Windows 11; inoage also offers MADRIX hardware such as the STELLA, LUNA, ORION and NEBULA interfaces.
