HeadsetControl-SystemTray by Lucas Zampieri is a small Windows tray application that displays the battery level of wireless headsets. Many gaming headsets from Logitech, SteelSeries, Corsair, HyperX and other makers do not show their charge in Windows, and this tool reads it through the open-source HeadsetControl project, which is bundled with the program.

The tray icon shows the current percentage and changes colour when the battery runs low, turning yellow below twenty-five percent and red below fifteen percent. A separate icon shows when the headset is charging, and the icon disappears when the headset is disconnected. The program is portable and needs no installation; to start it with Windows it can be added to Task Scheduler.
