Native Instruments Kontakt

Native Instruments Kontakt is one of the world's most advanced samplers used by professionals to create music in studio and home environments. The program includes a large set of filters, among them Adaptive Resonance (AR) types. These filters help to avoid artifacts caused by resonance peaks when filtering loud signals.

To improve the sound quality of pitched and rhythmic material, Native Instruments Kontakt uses its Time Machine Pro time-stretching and pitch-shifting mode. Experienced users of such programs will certainly appreciate the vintage sampler modes S1200 and MP60, which came to Kontakt from Native Instruments Maschine. The Kontakt Script Processor (KSP) lets instrument developers write scripts that change how MIDI input is processed and how an instrument's interface works.

Kontakt runs standalone or as a VST3 or AAX plug-in on 64-bit Windows. Kontakt 8 adds Tools such as an arpeggiator, Chord Builder and Scale Lock.
