Native Instruments Kontakt is one of the world's most advanced samplers used by professionals to create music in studio and home environments. The program includes a huge library of filters that use the Adaptive Resonance algorithm. This algorithm helps to avoid artifacts caused by resonance peaks when applying filters, sampling and other sound operations.

To improve the sound quality of harmonic instruments, Native Instruments Kontakt uses advanced TimeMachine Pro time crunching technology. Experienced users of such programs will certainly appreciate the presence in this sampler of classical sampling modes, "migrated" to Kontakt from the old program Native Instruments Maschine. From the same place came the Kontakt Script Processor module, which is used to create modified tools based on MIDI with a universal integrated playback function.

I found the application native Instrument Kontakt for windows and it has made my life easier.  It is a free download that runs on all Kontakt instruments.  It offers a free collection of instruments, effects and samples. I can download over 2000 sounds from drums, basses and synths.  Just so much fun playing with sound.

Native Instruments Kontakt software is an incredibly powerful virtual instrument suite. It offers a wide range of sample libraries, sound design tools, and effects, as well as an intuitive interface. I have found the browser and patch library to be very helpful in quickly finding the sounds I need. The effects and sound design tools are deep and offer a lot of control. The scripting engine is also very powerful and capable of creating some very unique sounds. The integration with other Native Instruments products is also very useful. The only downside is the complexity of the software, which can take some time to master.
