Notesnook

Notesnook is a privacy-focused note-taking app from Streetwriters. Notes are encrypted on the device before they are synced, so the service stores only data it cannot read. It is aimed at people who want notes that follow them between a Windows PC, a phone and a browser without handing their content to a provider that can read it.

The rich text editor supports checklists, code blocks and images, and notes are organised in notebooks, with tags, colours and pinned favourites. Sensitive notes can be locked in a password-protected vault. The app keeps working offline and syncs changes once a connection is available again, and notes can be exported in common text formats.
