In doing so, you can save these pages privately, and they cannot be accessed. Users can set a password, and all other pages will still be visible without requiring a password for viewing. PDF Page Lock is very user-friendly and easy to work with. Features include a way for users to password encrypt their pages and locked files or pages. You can hide and obscure PDF pages and leave the rest of the PDF document unaltered and unlocked, meaning that you do not have to save the entire document and then save it for a private viewing. It also works with the AES-256 encryption algorithm ensuring the best format for saving pages from the PDF document. The document in its entirely is viewable on any device, but the pages that you have saved and locked become invisible, and are not viewable. Only pages left open are viewable.

PDF Page Lock is ideal for authors or writers, or any other user, for that matter of fact, who would like to preserve content and keep it hidden. This program is ideal for these purposes and is very good at managing these features and at keeping privacy. I would highly recommend this program as a very viable alternative to other programs out there which just do not perform as well and instead of allowing users to only save a few pages out of the PDF document, instead of forcing you to save the entire document and then hide it to be accessible to only you.

I love that this program also comes with 1-click unlock so that accessing your files and saved items only takes a push of a button, and that’s it. It is very easy to work with, is simple and intuitive to learn, and has a very elegant interface.

This allows one to select page by page for a page to be locked or hidden and appears to be very easy to use. This feature would be useful for content such as peer reviewed articles or any content to be copyright protected to allow one to see the title, authors and abstract of an article for a pay model to entice the reader and/or to disallow stealing the content.
