PowerOff is a utility designed for automatic shutdown of the computer, as well as for some other operations with the system by means of several timers. The first type of timer is a normal timer. It allows you to set the exact time of the operation, set the countdown (i.e., after a certain period of time), or set the system downtime to be used for the operation. The list of operations contains such items: - Shutdown of the computer, - Reboot, - Sleep mode, - Blocking the computer, - Completing the current session, - Shutting down the Internet connection, - Shutting down the remote computer, - Sending a command over the network.
PowerOff includes three additional timers. Winamp-dependent, CPU-dependent, and Internet-dependent. Winamp-dependent can perform the required operation after playing a certain number of tracks, or after playing the last track in the list. CPU-dependent timer works on the basis of CPU load at a certain time, and Internet-dependent - on the basis of traffic speed.
PowerOff also supports text alerts, task scheduling and the installation of hotkeys to control power to the system.
PowerOff provides the benefit of automated system control, enabling scheduled shutdowns, reboots, and internet disconnections, enhancing energy efficiency and system security.
