ProgDVB

ProgDVB is an advanced multifunctional solution designed for viewing TV (from the Internet or from a local source) and Internet radio.

Of course, the main function of the program is to watch TV programs and listen to Internet radio stations. The Internet TV and radio list includes about 8000 channels. ProgDVB can also work with your existing TV tuner. The following formats are supported: DVB-S (satellite TV), DVB-S2, DVB-C (cable TV), DVB-T, DVB-T2, ATSC and ISDB-T. The program also supports IPTV/OTT services and plays video files from your computer's hard drive. Multiple devices from different manufacturers are supported, with support for DiSEqC and CAM functions.

Additional functions include an electronic program guide (from the broadcast or XMLTV), subtitles, teletext, time shifting and broadcasting of channels on a network. The sound can be adjusted with the built-in 10-band equalizer. The program interface supports various skins for the GUI and OSD.

ProgDVB allows you to access about 8000 internet TV channels and radio stations as well as DVB tuners from one platform.

The free Standard edition of ProgDVB covers the basic viewing functions without restrictions. It doesn't have the "picture in picture" and mosaic functions, a scheduler, DiSEqC support or the possibility to record TV programs - these are part of the paid Professional edition.

In the ProgDVB video settings, you can choose which decoder is used, for example one from CyberLink or NVIDIA PureVideo (the quality of the picture and of recorded TV programs depends greatly on the codec used).

ProgDVB can also work with some versions of FFDShow.
