Each player is assigned a set of tokens, either blue or red, which are placed off the board at the start of the game.

Turn by turn, each player must toss a four-sided stick by pressing a button on the screen, and the number that appears on the stick determines the number of steps your token can take. You must then select one of your tokens and move it towards its destination. The visible timer on the screen imposes a time limit to perform all your moves. If you fail to adhere to the time limit, defeat is inevitable.

If a player manages to move a token to a spot marked with a rosette, the token is safe from any capture and the player gets an extra toss. A precise toss is necessary to get your token off the board.
