SOCKS Proxy Checker is a program for checking proxy servers for activity. That is, you can check if any of the proxies are alive before using them for different purposes. The program checks the lists of SOCKS 4 / SOCKS 5 / HTTPS(CONNECT) proxy servers. It is possible to take lists from text files such as HTML and TXT. Lists are not limited in size. The program is free, the distribution has links to the latest server lists.

I am not sure how this software would be used. I personally would not have a use for it. I feel like it would be a very certain situation when it would be needed. I don't have the knowledge to say whether or not this product solves a need for someone.
