This software program serves as an editing program, which is an add-in to be used while editing templates of T4. It allows for highlighting of syntax and also allows for other features such as code outlining, IntelliSense, and other features as well. It is professional, meaning that it is a professional editor which helps the users to edit templates and make them look professional in the final product. It is of very high performance and simple to the user for users looking to work with T4 templates. In terms of syntax highlighting, it allows the user to use IntelliSense, which allows for editing of features such as tooltips, code, parameters, and other completion features for directives. It has all of the components which are included in template files and referenced assemblies.

Additionally, it lets you work around and navigate around definitions as well as objects that are located within the template file or files of other formats. It allows users to work with multilevel templates and lets you work with different classes, such as the templates of IntelliSense and allows you to also workaround with the menu that is built into the interface. I would highly recommend this software as a perfect utility tool for those looking to work with T4 templates and those looking to work with professional quality products. It is very powerful and gives the user a list of features that is not available in the alternatives, and the best part about it is that it is free to use and download. I would recommend this to anyone working with T4 because this program indeed does have it all.

I'm a big fan of Devart T4 Editor because it allows me to maximize the utility and functionality that I get out of Visual Studio. It's an add-in that makes editing T4 templates so much more efficient since it provides for a whole suite of time-saving features like code outlining and even a text editor. Maybe the most useful feature I've come across, however, is its ability to highlight syntax.
