Text Edit Plus

Text Edit Plus is a text editor from Vovsoft designed as a lightweight replacement for Windows Notepad. It opens and edits plain text files quickly, supports UTF-8 and UTF-16, and adds conveniences such as a dark mode, a spell checker and syntax highlighting for code, which makes it suitable for notes, logs, configuration files and simple programming tasks.

Gives plain-text editing the tools Notepad lacks, without extra weight.

Search and replace works with regular expressions, and line tools sort, reverse, combine and filter lines or remove duplicates. Text statistics count words and characters, encode and decode functions convert text, and documents can be exported to PDF or viewed full screen. The program is available as an installer or a portable version, and a licence removes the trial limits.
