X-FreeCad software is free for those who want to build 3D or edit the built 3D models, especially for mechanical and architect design engineers. This software interface is a little complicated for new users, and at the same time, the X-FreeCad community helps them to provide guidance to improve their skills in the freecad software. Maximum objects are programmed by python. This software comes with many drawing tools at the same time command line is also provided. With the command line help, we can reduce the manual draw tool interface and improve drawing and analyze speed.

Some features like undo/redo helps to avoid mistakes during the designing time. Many parameters include in the objects that help to improve the productivity of the output.X-FreeCad software comes with a customizable graphical user interface, and a simple user interface is amazing to use it.

There is a workbench concept included that makes things simple, it allows the display to show limited used tools in the completed task for keeping the workspace uncluttered and responsive. The file save format is also very easy to use, and zip-based save format is also available. We can know the geometry, scripts and thumbnail icons also in the saved format very easily.

Some of the most commonly used tools are Box, sphere,cylinder,offset and the boolean options add cut intersect. Annotations like texts and dimensions also give more attractiveness to your 3D creation.

FreeCad allows many format to import and export the models to analyse the results,the file formats such as STEP,IGES,OBJ,STL,DWG,DXE,SVG,SHP,DAE,NATSRAN,VRML,OpenSCAD,CSG,etc.

The main advantage of this software is that it is coded in python, which is flexible and user-friendly.

I've been using X-FreeCAD for a few months now and I'm quite pleased with the experience. The user interface is easy to use and it's packed with features that make it a great choice for those looking for an open source CAD platform. It has a wide range of tools and powerful features. The learning curve is quite steep, however the tutorials are very helpful in understanding the software.
