Zimbra Desktop is a multifunctional mail client based on Mozilla Prism technology. It includes many useful tools and applications for everyday use. This includes an organiser, task manager, virtual portfolio, calendar and much more. The developers position the presented mail client as the best alternative to Microsoft Outlook.
Zimbra Desktop can work with both its own Zimbra Collaboration Suite mail server (alternative to Exchange) and other mail services (Gmail, AOL, Yahoo mail, Microsoft Exenge IMAP). In addition, we have before us one of the few programs of this purpose that can be run offline. In addition, the application includes a useful Zimlet tool, which is a set of special mini applications for the client, which increase the convenience of working with it. For example, Zimlet includes a translator that allows you to quickly translate text or titles on Google maps. The latter, by the way, will be used to find addresses. Zimbra Desktop also supports integration with Twitter and Facebook social networks.
