ArchiCAD is a computer aided design or CAD type software. It is used to create building information modeling. It only supports Windows and MacOS operating systems.

This software is heavily used by the professionals and the students. It can produce photo realistic images and videos. Some desktop publication integrations are also included in it. It sometimes acts as a document management tool as well. It supports versioning to the users.

I have used ArchiCAD software for more than a year. It is a great software for creating 3D models, and offers a wide range of tools to customize them. On the downside, I find the rendering capabilities to be less than ideal and the program can be a bit slow. The library of furniture and other objects is also limited.
