BB FlashBack Express

BB FlashBack Express, now distributed as Flashback Express by Blueberry Software, is a free program for recording actions that take place on the screen. You can record to video the entire screen, a selected region or a window, together with the microphone, PC audio and the image from the webcam. When minimized, the program goes to the system tray without interfering with the recording process. The audio options include a choice of microphone, PC audio capture, microphone volume and noise cancellation. For video you can set the frame rate and quality, record and highlight the mouse cursor and clicks, and choose the folder where recordings are saved. Hotkeys start, pause, cancel and restart a recording. The free edition adds no watermark and exports videos to MP4, AVI and WMV; some tools, such as auto trimming, need a paid upgrade.
