Blindwrite

BlindWrite can effortlessly copy the contents of a CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc directly to your computer or to another blank disc. A very simple and straightforward user interface with Copy, Read and Write tasks takes the guesswork out of the process and can be used by anyone. The program extracts all the characteristics of the original media, including the sub-channel data of CDs, to make an exact copy, so you can protect your games, music and data discs against scratches, damage and frequent use by backing them up digitally. 

Features:

• You have the freedom to choose the default read and write speeds
• Additionally, you can pick a profile for the type of disc you are copying: automatic, audio CD, audio CD+G, bad sectors, ISO image, nosplit or nibble. The bad sectors profile detects sectors marked as bad on the source disc.
• You can make exact 1:1 copies of your personal CD, DVD and Blu-ray collection. BlindWrite does not strip or compress files, and copy-protected movie discs can only be copied with a separate tool such as AnyDVD running in the background.
• Support for a multitude of different formats, including ISO, CCD, CUE, BIN, and MDS, as well as its own BWT, B5T and B6T image formats
• You even have the option of running your backups directly from your computer. You just have to mount the image files in a virtual drive, such as Daemon Tools, which is an easy and painless process.

You only have to click one button to make a 1:1 copy of a disc.

This is a good tool to choose if you have a CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc that you want to back up or have multiple copies of. BlindWrite is shareware from VSO Software with a free trial; a license was sold for 19.99 USD. Wii, Xbox and PlayStation game discs are not supported, depending on the hardware configuration. The program is no longer developed: the last version, 7.0.0.0, was released in January 2013 and the product page has been removed from the VSO Software website.
