Double Commander is an open source, multi-platform file manager. The application supports two panels and has much in common with Total Commander. In particular, the presented program has compatibility with extensions for its more popular analogue. This feature significantly extends the already worthy functionality of Double Commander.
Interesting features of the program include support for tabs and most of the known encodings, built-in text editor with backlit syntax, archiver, FTP-client, permanent logging of file operations in the background, fully customizable toolbar and much more. This file manager also has an advanced file search system, has low system requirements and, importantly, is distributed completely free of charge.
