ExtraBits is a utility extension that helps the user manage all files on their computer. The program is great for people that have larger hard drives with a lot of files. These drives usually contain a large amount of data that is hard to manage. Using ExtraBits, the user can keep better track of their files, essentially improving the performance of the computer system. Even though the program is small and simple, ExtraBits comes with a few features that help the user manage their files without putting in hours of work, some of the features are:

Running out of hard drive space is something that has always annoyed me to no end. I'd download something and get that dreaded pop-up message that my hard drive is almost full, and Windows would ask me to delete a few things to make space. It seems simple enough, but there is a problem. You don't know what you can get rid of without any hassles, and that is frustrating. ExtraBits allows me to quickly identify files that I'd consider junk or irrelevant so I can delete them. My first time is running ExtraBits. I was able to remove over 200GB of junk files from my 1TB hard drive. I was astonished by the amount of junk that I had on this drive, and the results of deleting it all was instant. Your hardware will start to run slower when your hard drive is near its capacity. The truth of the matter is the computer sorts through millions of files each time you look for something. The fewer files you have, the better. Or should I say the more organized your hard drive is, the better? If you're able to keep your files organized, it helps keep your system running properly.
Save hundreds of hours of managing files on your computer.
The program is easy to use since it is an extension program. What that means is I don't need to open or close ExtraBits, it's always open and is integrated into your system once you install it. To add on to that, ExtraBits can be customized to your liking. For example, I'm able to use the program's context menu, which is where the program really shines. When you use that context menu regularly, you save a ton of time by using special commands. Something that you'd spend ten minutes on would take less than a few minutes using the commands in the context menu. Overall I'm very impressed with ExtraBits and would recommend it to anyone.
