FN Lock lets Windows users control the F1–F12 keys without a keyboard's built-in function lock. It is useful for people who want to change how those keys behave during everyday work or use FN actions for their own shortcuts. The program remains available from the system tray, so its controls are accessible while other applications are open.
Change the function-key lock with a shortcut and use FN actions for your own hotkeys or applications.
Press Ctrl + Alt + L to change the lock state, with a visible notification when it changes. You can configure custom hotkeys and use FN actions to launch applications. The settings window can be opened from the tray icon, and an option lets the program start with Windows. After the first launch, it normally opens in the tray.
