FotoMix is a free, small and simple image editing program from Digital Photo Software that lets you crop, resize, rotate, enhance, mix and manipulate your photos. Its main strength is combining backgrounds and foregrounds from different pictures into montages, collages, wallpapers and covers.

FotoMix makes it easy to combine several photos into one montage and apply basic edits without any editing skills.

FotoMix is a small free program with an interface split into a tool panel and an editing area. The interface is organized from the left menu with multiple tabs and selections to choose from. The right part of the screen has been kept for editing the images and being able to see the edit is done. There are five tabs at the top of the software application (Background, Foreground, Composition, Touch Up and Finish), which let you edit the background, add foreground objects and text, and then enhance and frame the image you are working on. At the bottom of the software application screen, there is a function that allows you to zoom in and also has the Tooltip label.

FotoMix is ideal for someone looking for simple photo freeware that gives quick results. This free software allows you to edit, crop, resize, rotate and perform almost any basic editing technique on new images or previously edited images. It is easy to use and does not require previous editing knowledge to use it to its fullest. The last version, 9.2, was designed for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8 and is available in more than a dozen languages; the program is no longer developed and the developer's website is offline.
