HashTab

Incredibly convenient utility for calculation of checksums of any files. Once you install HashTab in the system, just right click on any file and select "Properties". You will notice that there is a new tab called "File Hashes". This tab will display all checksums of the file you have chosen to display.

You can set up which hash types are calculated and displayed. You can also compare the hash with another file or a pasted value. Of course, copy and paste is supported everywhere, and the comparison tool also accepts drag and drop, so you don't have to strain your eyes comparing hashes of different files. HashTab supports over two dozen algorithms, including CRC32, MD5, RIPEMD, SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3, HAVAL, Tiger and Whirlpool. Version 6 also reads .md5sum and other checksum files and can save hashes to checksum files.

The program is fast and simple, and is a handy tool for every user who needs to verify downloaded files. It is free for personal use, for students and for non-profits, while use at work requires a commercial license. It supports Windows Vista and later (32-bit and 64-bit). HashTab is no longer developed, and the website of its developer, Implbits Software, is offline.
