Honestech VHS to DVD software is designed to work with both experienced users and people with minimal knowledge. The program interface allows you to capture and encode video and audio tracks with just a few clicks of the mouse. The program works in three modes: simple, advanced and audio recording. Video conversion in a simple mode is carried out by three-step scheme: video capture, editing, conversion to popular video format or burning to DVD, Blu-ray, VCD or SVCD-disk.

Built-in editor allows you to cut commercials and undesirable scenes from the movie, combine video from multiple video tapes into one movie, using transition effects, filters, special effects and titles. In the Honestech VHS to DVD menu, you can adjust the digitization time, create a menu for future recording, and use a variety of transition effects. While the video is being digitized, it is stored in a temporary folder, and after being burned to disk or converted, the folder is automatically cleared.
Before starting burning the disc or converting the captured video to PSP and IPOD formats, the edited material can be previewed on the preview screen and corrected.
The program allows you to digitize not only video, but also audio tracks from tapes and vinyl records. The digitized sound is saved in MP3 format and can be listened to on an MP3 player, PSP, IPOD, or PDA, or recorded on a CD, creating a complete audio CD.
