Vidmore Video Editor

Vidmore Video Editor from Vidmore is a desktop editor for basic video corrections, available for Windows and in a Mac edition. Instead of a complex project workflow it offers a set of single-purpose tools: the user picks a task, adds a file, previews the change and exports the result. It accepts common formats such as MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, WebM and MXF, including 4K footage.

Covers everyday fixes such as cutting, joining, cropping and rotating clips in a few steps.

The tools rotate a clip in 90-degree steps or flip it, crop the frame to a new aspect ratio, cut out or split sections, and join several clips into one file. Brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and volume are adjustable, and an enhancement tool upscales resolution, reduces noise and stabilises shaky footage. Text or image watermarks can be added. The free version exports at most five minutes of video; the Pro licence lifts that limit.
