Key Presser is a free, portable keyboard automation tool for Windows released into the public domain.

Key Presser is a lightweight software program that automatically presses any key combination repeatedly or a set number of times. Whether you need to repeat a keystroke in a game or simply need to automate a tedious input process, Key Presser can help. The current version is written in C# and is distributed through SourceForge.

Key Presser saves time and effort by pressing keys for you at the interval you set, started and stopped with your own hotkeys.

Features

- Repeat keystrokes at a set interval: Key Presser presses the selected key again and again with the delay you enter in milliseconds, from 15 ms for very fast pressing up to very long pauses. This allows you to automate tedious input processes and keep your hands off the keyboard while the keystrokes are being repeated.

- Two key combinations: you can configure a first and a second key combo. The second combo is pressed right after the first one, followed by the delay, so two different keys can be automated at once.

- Start and stop hotkeys: Key Presser allows you to set up separate hotkeys for the Start and Stop buttons, so you can start and stop the keystroke repetition with a single keystroke. Both buttons can also share the same hotkey.

- Hotkey suppression: when the Suppress option is enabled, the start and stop hotkeys are seen only by Key Presser and are not passed on to other applications.

- Modifier keys: CTRL, ALT and SHIFT check boxes let you combine the selected key with modifiers, for example to press Ctrl+Shift+F1.

- Key selection: the key to press is chosen from a drop-down list that contains letters, digits and other keyboard keys.

- Fixed number of presses: the Press Fixed Number of Times option together with the Press Count field makes the program stop automatically after the specified number of presses.

- Dark mode: a button in the top-right corner of the window switches between the light and the dark theme.

- Automatic saving: the configuration is saved automatically and restored the next time you start the program.

- Portable: Key Presser is a single small executable of about 300 KB that runs without installation, so you can keep it on a USB drive.

- Free and open: the program is released into the public domain, and its C# source code can be downloaded from SourceForge. It requires Windows with .NET Framework 4.5.1 or later.
