LatencyMon is a latency monitoring and performance analysis tool from Resplendence Software Projects. It helps identify and troubleshoot latency issues in Windows-based systems. With LatencyMon, you can monitor and analyze the latency of your system and its drivers, providing detailed information about your system's performance.
LatencyMon features a simple tabbed interface (Main, Stats, Processes, Drivers and CPUs) and detailed data analysis capabilities. It measures kernel timer latencies, the execution times of interrupt service routines (ISRs) and deferred procedure calls (DPCs), and hard pagefaults, which are common causes of audio dropouts, clicks and pops. After a run, LatencyMon displays a plain-language conclusion stating whether the system appears suitable for real-time audio.
LatencyMon allows users to identify the source of latency issues, such as the drivers and processes responsible for the highest execution times, and determine how latency is affecting overall system performance. This can help users identify areas of improvement, diagnose hardware and driver issues, and increase system efficiency. The Home Edition is free, and a paid Professional Edition is also offered.
LatencyMon allows users to identify, analyze and diagnose latency issues in their system.
