Macaw in itself is firmly just a website design editing/developing, combining all the instruments needed for the job in one place, creating a great creative environment suitable for most internet designers. The setting and the configurations of a new project are rather simple enough, having things like fonts, resolution, grid and thickness, geometry options, page size, and all the other stuff that you'll find on a greatly crafted website. The app also utilized font styling, code inspection, and, in turn, code creation and generation. Overall the back-end process of the site can also be envisioned in general terms via other utilities.

Macaw is focused on MacOS and all of its other designing utensils, though it can generally be used on virtual machine OS like CentOS/VM and others. The API integration is in play, too, presenting itself as a great developer opportunity to organize website structure, although you would need to do some setting-up beforehand. The program also makes use of Microservices, meaning it can be also a great source of smaller module structuring, with tools like Codegen and docker containers (MDR, Meta Data Repository) combining it all together.

Features:

  • Minimalistic design to not bother you with unnecessary busy work with settings/configuration
  • A high amount of developer instruments, both built-in and externally added via additional tools
  • Basic documentation with some software use examples and extra developer tools clarification
  • Numerous built-in databases, including MySQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and others, all contribute to the general goal of having a large amount of creation or influencing/editing methods
  • Options for sending in the program's configuration via resource schedulers and similar software

To conclude all of this, Macaw is not necessarily a complex piece of web designing software, it's just that the sheer scale of its work potential, as well as its features quantity and quality, is all-in-all superb. To call it at least deserving a check would be an understatement, because Macaw is, for what it seems, a must among internet-designing tooling, worthy of your time!
