McAfee Internet Security is a complete anti-malware solution from McAfee. With thousands of viruses appearing every day, traditional signature analysis is not enough at the moment. That is why the developers of this product added McAfee Active Protection technology, which checks suspicious files in the cloud and blocks new threats without waiting for the next signature update.

The suite combines antivirus and anti-spyware protection with a personal firewall, anti-spam filtering, parental controls and McAfee WebAdvisor (formerly SiteAdvisor), which rates sites and warns about risky links and downloads. Newer versions also include the True Key password manager.
