Neko is a small application that will put a nice "cartoon" kitten on your desktop. The kitten's name is Neko, just like the program, and he'll be chasing the mouse cursor and walking on the computer screen. Kittens' behaviour is configurable - users can determine how often and when they will make sounds, how fast they will move around the screen and whether they will leave traces. It's also possible to set up the interaction between Neko and the mouse cursor - a kitten can hunt for the cursor, run away from it, or just run back and forth in a chaotic manner. The program allows you to customize the kitten's "size" and use the libraries of icons in ICL format to change the appearance of this funny creature. With the help of this application you can live on your desktop, not even one, but a whole brood of computer kittens.
