WindowManager

WindowManager from DeskSoft solves a common annoyance: many programs do not remember where their windows were placed or how large they were. The utility records the position and size of chosen windows and restores them automatically whenever those programs or dialogs open again, which is especially useful on setups with several monitors.

Opens every program window exactly where you want it, every time.

Rules decide what happens to each window, from moving or resizing only to activating it, minimising it to the tray or closing it, and selected windows can be locked in place. Advanced rules can send keystrokes or mouse clicks when a window appears, profiles with triggers switch between sets of rules, and hotkeys support the virtual desktops of Windows 10 and 11.

Features:

• Automatic restore of window position and size
• Rules for moving, resizing, activating or closing windows
• Locking of selected windows in place
• Multi-monitor support
• Keystrokes and mouse clicks sent when a window opens
• Profiles with automatic switching triggers
