- It provides real-time source and device capture. It can also handle scene-composition and encoding. It also is really good for recording and broadcasting. The feed can be sent to many destinations, including popular streaming websites like YouTube and Twitch
- It has an easy to use interface. The interface is divided into several sections; Scenes, sources, controls, transitions and audio mixer. The audio mixer is very intuitive and has many preset options. It also has a VST plugin. You can customize the interface to look the way you'd like. The modular dock UI allows the arrangement to be rearranged to your liking. Each dock can also become its own window.
- Scenes can be set up seamlessly with other scenes. There is an unlimited amount of scenes you can create. With custom transitions, you can switch between all of the different scenes. The scenes can be made up of images or texts as well as image-captures. You can even create scenes from browser windows or webcams or even capture cards.
- OBS Studio allows you to create professional productions. There are several available scenes to transition between and you can add your own files to the program. You can create your own hotkeys for every activity imaginable and have the shortcuts just the way you like it. Studio Mode lets you preview your creation before you upload it. This allows you to make final edits before you showcase your creation to the world. Monitor 8 different scenes with the multi-view. This allows you to cue up your transitions and make it easier to see your creation come to life.

OBS Studio is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS. It has a very user friendly interface. Users get to create different sources for videos, audio, and screens. It has multiple docks for multiple purposes, and the users can even use each dock as different windows.
Users can create an unlimited amount of screens and record as much as they want. The default MKV recording keeps the recording even if the computer faces load shedding or any sudden disruption.
OBS Studio is also used heavily for streaming games and making tutorials. Users can create custom hotkeys for various perspectives throughout the entire application. Its Studio Mode lets the users preview their creations before uploading them. This helps in terms of final editing tasks.

OBS Studio is a powerful, open-source software that I have been using for video streaming and recording purposes.
