Password Protect USB is a software solution designed to protect an unlimited number of folders on a local computer using passwords. To protect your information, you don't need to move it to another location on your hard drive, just assign a password to any folder containing sensitive data. For the first use, you need to run the program from the installation directory. After that, you just need to right-click on any folder in Windows Explorer to protect it with Password Protect USB. You can protect the data on your hard drive, external USB drives and any other removable media. You can install the program directly on an external drive to be able to protect or unlock folders on any other computer.

The main benefit of using Password Protect USB is it safeguard sensitive data across multiple storage devices with a simple password assignment.

To unlock a folder, you do not need to run the program itself. Double-click on this folder in Explorer and enter your password. The program was developed with a view to maximizing safety, reliability and compatibility. If you try to block a folder with Windows installed, Password Protect USB will give you an error describing why you shouldn't do this. The program is very simple and has a friendly interface.

It seems intriguing. It sounds like a neat idea. The only thing is remembering all those passwords. If there is a different password for every folder, that's a lot of passwords. Maybe it could be a place to store sensitive data that has one password for the program and then you can have access to all the folders in the program. But, then it might be easier to hack. It don't know. It sounds interesting, though.
