Pitara is a unique photo discovery and search tool for your photos on PC. It offers the ability to instantly find any photo, whether it's 2 days or 20 years old.

It allows you to add custom keywords to any photo(s). In this way, you can search for one or more photos using keywords.

  • Automatic creation of albums based on location, time, keywords, and folders.
  • Possible selection of multiple countries, and the automatic creation by Pitara of albums on popular festivals of those countries. It notably knows the dates of the last 15-20 years of these festivals, such as the dates of all Thanksgiving celebrations over the past 20 years.
  • Browse and search like on a web browser, for any search you like, you just need to click on the Heart button to add it to your favorites. With a single click, collect all photos taken at that time. Copy photos from search results to share easily.
  • Image comparison and isolation of duplicate photos to save disk space.

How does Pitara do all this? Pitara indexes the photos on your PC to create a quick and efficient index, allowing you to search for photos just as you would on Google. For instance, "Friday night in Portland in summer 2002" will display all photos taken in Portland on a Friday night in the summer of 2002.
