PopSQL has emerged as an efficient SQL editor designed for Windows users. It offers an environment that makes query writing and database visualization a breeze. What sets PopSQL apart is its compatibility, with databases such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL and BigQuery. It provides you with easy user experience from the start, thanks to its automated installation process and simple Google login. One standout feature of PopSQL is its real time collaboration capabilities for database projects. This makes it especially valuable for those who are learning SQL. Similar to Google Docs, you can easily share queries and results using URLs to organize data in folders and to take advantage of data visualization tools. PopSQL also comes equipped with features like table and column search functionality, keyboard shortcuts and export options. While it may not have enterprise grade capabilities PopSQL excels in supporting database types by offering SQL editing and visualization features along with convenient collaboration tools reminiscent of Google Docs. In terms of pricing structure, PopSQL only charges for the editor apps since standalone viewers are completely free for all users. There are premium tiers "Premium," "Business," and "Enterprise" subscription categories. These tiers allow you to add editors at reduced entry prices. Additionally there is a tier that grants access to only one editor but supports two database connections along, with ten saved queries.

PopSQL is a great software for those looking for a simple, straightforward SQL editor. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it a great choice for beginners. Its support for multiple databases, including MySQL, Postgres, and SQLite, makes it a great choice for developers who need to work with multiple databases. The drag and drop functionality also makes it easy to quickly create queries. The ability to save queries and connect to Redshift and BigQuery is also great. The autocomplete and syntax highlighting are also very helpful in quickly composing queries. The only issue I found was the lack of SQL formatter, but this was a minor issue.
