Secret Disk is a program focused on the protection of data stored on a personal computer or laptop from unauthorized access and disclosure. This program allows you to encrypt the hard disk partition on which the operating system is located, which eliminates the possibility of starting the computer without a special USB-key and PIN-code. In addition, Secret Disk allows you to encrypt the rest of the hard disk, dynamic disk volumes and various removable media (USB, Flash drives, floppy disks, memory cards for mobile devices, etc.), as well as create virtual images in the form of container files.
When reading data from an encrypted disk, decryption is performed in the background, unnoticed by the user, which allows you to fully concentrate on working with confidential information. Encryption can also be performed automatically. To access hidden data, you must have a USB key or smart card and know the PIN code. Currently, different versions of the program are available to users, which differ in functionality.
