The program can be run in invisible mode, so no one will guess that some folders or files on this computer were hidden. It is possible to keep a list of trusted programs that can access hidden data. It also supports multiple users with personal file protection settings.

If you are as concerned with file security as me then File Lock is beyond essential for protection of sensitive and personal files on Windows PCs. No other software allows for ease of use like File lock with it's simple and effective user interface and quick file locking abilities. If you work in an office or anywhere with public computer access then File lock would serve you well in protecting and preserving system or personal files from malicious use. For me and my work File Lock is a key piece of software that I would recommend to anyone using the Windows platform.

I recently downloaded the File Lock software and found it to be quite user-friendly. The setup was a breeze, and I was able to easily lock and unlock my files with just a few clicks. The interface is nice and intuitive and the encryption is strong. The only downside I noticed was that it took a bit longer to lock or unlock a file than I expected. However, it did not make an appreciable difference. I also like the fact that it is free and works with all kinds of file formats. Overall, File Lock is a good and reliable piece of software.
