SmartAlbums is a desktop editor for photographers who assemble client photo books. Add selected pictures, build page spreads, and adjust the arrangement to suit the story or print format. It supports preparing a draft for client review as well as producing files for a printing lab. Photographers can move from an image selection to a complete album without laying out every page from scratch.

The program proposes page compositions from its template collection as pictures are added, while allowing manual changes to image placement, margins, and gaps. It accepts common image formats and can use imported image ratings to help organize a selection. Lab profiles help configure print output, and online review lets clients comment on a draft. Layered design files can also be exported for further editing.
